Having worked developing websites for many years and then woking with VI people so they could have and maintain their own platforms it became evident that the barriers websites created for many people were quite often due to a lack of understanding and knowledge.
When people understood some of the challenges faced by VI people they were then able to improve on the platforms accessibility.
For example when we did a presentation of a JAWS user navigating the UK government website to website developers the code improved as a result.
So whilst we can advice you on you accessibility journey what we really love doing is teaching you how to improve your own website.
So in essence we are a group of passionate people who want to make website better for all.
Every project we take on we make a donation to MindfulVision who employ Blind, Severely Sight Impaired and Visually Impaired people.
