Trained in Commercial photography which I worked in for 10 years and was a greta experience. Travelling around the country and abroad photographing everything from off shore wind farms (nPower), factories (Unilever), buildings from the air in planes and helicopters and oil rigs. It was an exciting time.
Later on I moved into self publishing undertaking a lot of work in Liverpool from 1999 to 2009 and documented and published the city as it going European Capital of Culture and then UNESCO world heritage status.
Self publishing moved to publishing books for other people and organisations like the now defunct North West Development Agency, liverpool City Council, Mike McCartney and LIVE 8. Books naturally led to the web and the development of websites which is just another form of publishing.
