I have been fortunate to do lots of things ranging from commercial photography to book publishing. Then websites became an obvious progression. Now my main interest is website accessibility.
So much has happened since the advent of the computer regarding publishing, some of these changes are for the better and some not so.
I have published 30 books to date and my first book Liverpool: the first 1000 years in conjunction with Arabella McIntyre-Brown sold over 20,000 copies in 10 days and was a number one seller in Waterstones. The book was even cited in the House of Lords.
Bard can create content (text) based on phrases. This might seem a great step but it also creates a disconnect from human being. Machines creating content and falsified images. A virtual world?

When I moved down to Gloucestershire in 2009 I did some work professionally for Rob Keen. He needed some photographs of an area of land. Being an experienced aerial photographer I flew out of Gloucestershire airport in a Cessna 172 and got the job done. Several months later he called to say he needed some more work. There was a catch. Come down to the farm and Ill explain, which I did. Turns out he is an ace microlight pilot and he wanted to fly so I could take the photographs which we did and in the November. IT WAS SO COLS. But we got the job done.
Starting that following summer and over a period of several years I had the opportunity of flying again with Rob Keen in his microlight from his own airstrip at Over Farm. He showed me Gloucestershire the Forest of Dean and surrounds in all seasons.
Over the years I have worked in a number of different sectors. Each discipline presented at the time new challenges.
